National Literature Award 2024

Hi All, I am pleased to announce that I am awarded "National Literature Award 2024" by Indian Literature & Arts Society for my literary contribution to the literary world with my poetry and short stories. I am proud to represent my state Karnataka while receiving this prestigious award. Also, I dedicate this award to all my readers who supported me by reading and appreciating my work. Some of them even provided constructive criticism that helped me to improve myself in my writings. I had started writing as a kid and it had been a long journey for the writer in me. Though I had seen many rejections, before I could see my first story published. Something kept me going in spite of seeing so many failures as a writer in my early years. This first publication was followed by many publications around the globe, but 2024 has been a special year for me. So many of my short stories and poems have got published in various anthologies. At least, awards like this at least proves that I am a writer too! I thank you all once again for this amazing journey in writing and I have lived many lives, many characters, many thoughts through my writings. Also, I can vouch that there hadn't been a writer in my family history so far and I have walked that path first time. With all your support. Thank you once again. I am not proud, just being humbled.

Reacher (2022-) TV Series Review: Though Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher was good, but I felt he was miscast as Reacher as he was no where close to the Reacher's character as per the books. However, in this TV series that is taken care as Alan Ritchson seems to be perfect Jack Reacher with his physical form and is fantastic as Reacher as he plays the character as a man with a strong sense of justice. Reacher doesn't actively seek out trouble, but it is usually trouble that seeks him. However, he makes it clear that it will regret having sought him out. I have read 21 books of Lee Child's Jack Reacher series over 3 years time and felt more than happy watching this series on Amazon Prime. It is definitely worth your time. However, do keep in mind that it does have nudity and sexual content. So, it is for audience 18 and above. Also it is based on one Jack Reacher book Killing Floor. As there are many more books, so it should be a lengthy series with many seasons to follow. Eagerly waiting for the next season to come soon. My rating is 8.5/10. Highly recommended.

The Invisible Guardian (Spanish : El guardián invisible

The Invisible Guardian (Spanish : El guardián invisible (original title) is a 2017 Spanish thriller in which a serial killer is on the loose. The atmosphere of the movie is wonderful and even creepy at times. The inspector who has to confront the present, stop the killer and tame the devils of her past is well played by Marta Etura.Amaia Salazar (Marta Etura), a police inspector in Pamplona, is directed by her superior to investigate a murder. The case concerns a teenage girl whose naked body was found at the side of a river close to Elizondo, Amaia's birth town, a rainy village surrounded by forests and mounts, full of local myths and ancient superstitions. Soon, it is found out that a serial killer is behind this ritualistic killing. The movie goes forward holding one's interest till the end. You feel for Amaia Salazar's character who had a troublesome childhood. Infact, her mother had almost tried to kill her then. It was a miracle that she had survived. This one ends up as one best serial killer genre movies. The major plus points are the locations in which this movie has been shot, the main mystery of the plot and the past and the present of lead character have been done well. The major minus point is that this one is a slow burner and it takes time to unfold. Those who are expecting a fast paced thriller would be disappointed.My rating is 7.5/10. It is worth watching!
